Sources close to Lion Fight Promotions have confirmed with Muay Thai Authority that Joe Schilling has been cut from the Lion Fight roster. Schilling, who was scheduled to fight at Lion Fight 10 on July 26th in Las Vegas against Charles Byrd, has been removed from the fight card and the fight has been scrapped.
The Los Angeles based Schilling signed an exclusive contract with Lion Fight in early 2012, under which, he went 0-3. Lion Fight has yet to release any official announcement regarding the removal of Schilling from Lion Fight 10.
Lion Fight 10 is now slated to feature six professional bouts, three of them highly anticipated by fans. Yodsanklai Fairtex will be taking on surging American Chike Lindsay, Kevin Ross and Matt Embree will look to settle the debate of who the best in super lightweight in North America is, and Tiffany Van Soest and Lucy Payne will settle their verbal dispute in the ring.
