A few days ago rumors surfaced that Ky Hollenbeck would be replacing Jordan Watson at Glory 10 against Albert Kraus. Sources close to Glory informed Muay Thai Authority today that Watson was officially off the fight card, but contrary to previous reports Watson is not injured and visa issues are to blame for his removal from the fight card. According to our source efforts were made up until today to see if Watson could get his visa issues fixed, but it became clear that it would not happen and that he had to be removed from the fight card.
Hollenbeck will return to action for the first time in 11 months. He was last in action in November of 2012 when he lost to Giorgio Petrosyan in the Glory 154lb tournament. In the bout with Petrosyan, Hollenbeck blew his ACL out in the second round and was unable to continue. He had surgery following the bout, and is now ready to return to action. It will be very interesting to see how Hollenbeck returns after the having had ACL surgery and a win against Kraus would be a huge name to add to his already impressive resume.
