Another title bout has been confirmed for the Glory portion of Bellator 142: Dynamite. Glory Featherweight Champion Gabriel Varga will make his first title defense against Serhiy Adamchuck. The event which takes place September 19 from the SAP Center in San Jose, CA will also feature the already announced Glory Heavyweight Title bout between Zack Mwekassa and Saulo Cavalari.
Varga wont the Glory featherweight title this past April in a unanimous decision over Mosab Amrani at Glory 20. The Canadian is 5-1 in the Glory ring and has won his last four fights. The Ukraine's Adamchuk competes in both Kickboxing and MMA, but has focused on Kickboxing in recent years. He earned his title shot by defeating the highly touted Marat Grigorian at Glory 22.
Bellator 142: Dynamite will feature MMA and Kickboxing bouts. It is being co-promoted by Bellator and Glory and will feature a cage and a ring.

ReplyDeleteSergey Adamchuk is a 154lbs fighter (i have seen him fighting around 70-72kg), how can he fights Gabriel Varga who is 2 divisions lighter ? Even if he wins, he will never stay in 142lbs, to light for him.
