Bangkok Fight Night VIII Results

With the rescheduling of this event from its original November date, the event lost a few heavy hitters from it's original card. One being Anthony "NIGHTMARE" Nieves. With every ones excitement for Nieves' return to Muay Thai after his pro boxing debut and a few months of much needed rest, many fans were a bit disappointed. Many of the originally scheduled Thai fights were canceled and the spots filled with eager MMA fighters ready to battle.The show started off a bit bumpy with around and hour or so delay having to wait for medics to be on site.

The first Thai fight betweenBangkok Boxings Osagyefo Holmes and Contemporary Martial Arts Andrew Ballenger was back and forth with both fighters landing some good shots. In the end Ballenger was the victor.

Bangkok Fight Night VIII moved back to December 4th.

The scheduled Bangkok Fight Night VIII set for Nov. 5th has been moved back to Dec. 4th. At this time the reason for the move has not been released.

The fight card is currently expected to remain the same and still feature the following Muay Thai bouts, Anthony Nieves vs. Travis Lerchern, Ryan Peace vs. Tim Gawenda, and Eddie Walker vs. Mike McLendon, as well as a MMA fight featuring Muay Thai pro Chike Lindsay.

Updated Bangkok Fight Night VIII fight card - Mike McLendon faces Eddie Walker

Mike McLendon is set to face Eddie Walker at Bangkok Fight Night VIII - Best of the Best. Mike McLendon with be representing Bangkok Boxing while Walker will be representing Knuckle Up.

In the amateur fights, the Muay Thai bout featuring Erica Taylor vs. Monique Travis will no longer take place.

The Fights take place Nov. 5 at Center Stage in Atlanta, GA. The main event will feature an MMA bout between Chike Lindsay and Joe Elmore, and the co-main event a Muay Thai bout between Anthony Nieves and Travis Lerchern.
