Artem Levin vs. Simon Marcus now expected for December 21st in Russia

It seems that the much anticipated bout between Artem Levin (@ArtemLionLevin) and Simon Marcus is once again set to happen. According to Artem Levin's official website (http://www.artem-lion-levin.ru/en/2012/11/01/naznachena-data-boya-levin-markus/) he will be fighting Simon Marcus on December 21, 2012 in Ekaterinburg, Russia. The name of the event that the bout will be a part of is not mentioned, but the bout will be for the WMC Light Heavyweight World Title.

The match-up between Levin and Marcus was originally set to take place in June for Levin's WBC title, but both Levin and Marcus pulled out of the bout. Then it was rumored the bout would take place November 16, 2012 at the Battle of Champions 7 in Russia, but the event was cancelled. Hopefully the third time is a charm and the fight goes through without a hitch this time.

Marcus will be fighting Sadibou Sy at the Muay Thai in America event on December 1st. It will be interesting to see if knowing that he is fighting for a world title 20 days later will change his approach to the bout with Sy.

Results and Recap for Profiliga Muaythai 12: Yodsanklai def. Vladimir Moravick to retain WMC World Title

Yodsanklai Fairtex was in action last night against Vladimir Moravick at Profiliga Muaythai 12. The bout took place in Slovakia for the WMC 160lb world title. In the end Yodsanklai took home a (T)KO victory after a third round stoppage over a bloodied up Moravick.

Also in action on fight card were Marco Pique and Tomas Hron, both picked up decision victories. Pique defeated Jan Mazur by unanimous decision and Hron defeated Dmitry Bezus by unanimous decision.
