Results and Recap: Fight Festival

The Fight Festival took place at Hollywood Park Casino in California last night. In the night’s main event Sheldon Gaines and Travis Garlits put on an exciting fight for the fans in attendance. The bout between Gaines and Garlits was the only pro fight on the night’s fight card.

Gaines and Garlits fought back and forth for five exciting rounds. Gaines cut Garlits with elbows to the head in the second round. Although Garlits managed to rock Gaines in the third round, Gaines was able to survive and recover. Garlits was also cut in the third round by an elbow, this time over his eye and once more in fifth round on the side of the head. In the end the judges awarded Sheldon Gaines the unanimous decision victory.
