The Renzo Gracie Academy in Brooklyn, New York will be hosting an 8-man 154lb pro tournament on September 13th. The event dubbed “Battle of the Pros” will feature some up and coming talent in a one night tournament and will take place at the Renzo Gracie Fight Academy in Brooklyn, NY.Competing in the tournament will be Troy Sheridan (Toronto, Canada), Villi Bello (Brooklyn, New York), Turan Hasanov (Brooklyn, New York), Nate Chambers (Las Vegas, Nevada), Deshawn Robinson (Roselle, New Jersey), Rafael Machado (Newark, New Jersey), Flavio Brito (Boston, Massachusetts), and Phillip LeGrand (Brooklyn, New York). It should prove to be an interesting night as it difficult to predict how one night tournaments will go. The winner will definitely be making a statement most of the fighters in the tournament are considered future pioneers for the North American Muay Thai scene.
