Pictures: M-One "Team Thailand vs. Team America"

Scott Hirano was on hand for Muay Thai Authority to shoot M-One's "Team Thailand vs. Team America". The event featured some of America's top fighters taking on some of Thailand's best. Americans Joe Schilling, Kevin Ross and Romie Adanza were able to defeat "Team Thailand" which consisted of Kaoklai, Sakkedao and Languanlek Sasiprapa two fight to one.

Results and Recap: M-One "Team Thailand vs. Team America"

Los Angeles, CA -- Club Nokia played host to M-One's "Team Thailand vs. Team America" on Friday night. Representing the United States were Kevin Ross, Joe Schilling and Romie Adanza; the Thai team was composed of Sakkedao Petchpayathai, Kaoklai Kaennorsing and Langsuanlek Sasiprapa. It was a best of three and America had an opportunity to make a statement and that is exactly what they did.

The night's first American vs. Thai fight featured Kevin Ross against Sakkedao and as expected Ross came out looking to make a statement early. His boxing looked crisp as he worked the body for Sakkedao, which he then used to set up his attacks up high. Sakkedao seemed to be playing the feeling out game early on, but for Ross it was business from the first bell. At the start of the second round Sakkedao began to pick up the pace as he began to press some of the action and score with knees and elbows, especially in the clinch. All of the nights fighters looked ready for the action that will take place tomorrow night at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, CA. The "Team Thailand vs. Team America" portion will feature Joe Schilling vs. Kaoklai, Kevin Ross vs. Sakkedao and Romie Adanza vs. Langsuanlek Sasiprapa.

Scott Hirano was recently in Thailand and he stopped by Sasiprapa Gym to capture some great shots of Rungravee Sasiprapa training for his upcoming fight against Andres Martinez. The pair will fight at M-One's "Team America vs. Team Thailand" event at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, CA on October 21st.

Andres Martinez replaces Yetkin Ozkul against Rungravee Sasiprapa

Muay Thai Authority has been informed that Yetkin Ozkul and Rungravee Sasiprapa will not be fighting in a re-match of their 2010 fight at M-One's "Team America vs. Team Thailand" on October 21st at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, CA. Ozkul will be replaced by Andres Martinez of Spain, a former WKN champion.

The young Spanish fighter will look to make a statement when he faces Rungravee, a fighter which is best described as a wrecking machine. One of Martinez more notable fights is a draw with Sittisak Petchpayathai of Thailand. The young finger will face one of the toughest tests of his career when he fights Rungravee.

Rungravee made his U.S. debut at Stand Up Promotions "M1 Grand Muay Thai Championship" in spectacular fashion, he stopped Kunitaka Fujiwara after two very entertaining rounds. Rungravee instantly became a fan favorite because of his aggressive and exciting fight style.
