John Wayne Parr vs. Cosmo Alexandre set for Powerplay Promotions 22 on November 8th

John Wayne Parr and Cosmo Alexandre are set to clash for a third time on November 8th under the Powerplay Promotions banner in Australia. The pair have previously split two fights with Cosmo winning the last bout in 2009 by (T)KO.

Cosmo returned to Muay Thai action this past month at Lion Fight 11 where he defeated Nampon PKMuaythai by decision. Parr was most recently in action in July when he defeated Marco Pique by decision in his caged Muay Thai series, Boonchu Cup.

Parr will be bringing a six fight win streak into the bout with Cosmo including some big wins over the likes of Mike Zambidis and Mostafa Abdollahi.

Yodsanklai Fairtex vs. John Wayne Parr 3 set

It's official, Yodsanklai Fairtex and John Wayne Parr will fight a third time at Powerplay Promotions "Pay Back Time 2". Yodsanklai defeated Parr in the two previous fights, both times by unanimous decision.

The first bout took place Dec 12, 2005 for the vacant WBC middleweight world title, and the second time on April 12, 2008 as part of the finale for reality TV show The Contender Asia. Parr seemed to give Yodsanklai no trouble in either of the two previous bouts.

The third fight will take place at 160 pounds. The first two fights were very entertaining and there is no reason the third one shouldn't be either. Will Parr be able to exact revenge, or does Yodsanklai simply have his number? We will see on Oct 19, 2010.

The rest of the fight card has yet to be announced. Keep checking back for more updates.
