Three North American fighters on The Challenger Muay Thai TV series


The Challenger is set to premier on AXN in Asia this September while air dates and networks are currently being worked on for the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom. An off shoot of The Contender Asia, The Challenger is set to feature 16 world class Muay Thai fighters competing for the $100,000 grand prize.

In the mix for the $100,000 grand prize are three North American fighters. Cyrus "Black Dynamite" Washington is from Detroit, Michigan and has been living in Thailand and training for the last couple of years. The dynamic Washington is known for his explosive style and his highlight reel knockouts.

Michael "Chase" Corley is from Spring, Texas and like Washington has spend the last couple of years training in Thailand as well. He is former Golden Gloves champion and has competed in the Toyota Cup in Thailand. Like Washington he brings an explosive style when he steps into the ring.

Jesse "Smiles" Miles is from Calgary, Canada and trains under his father, renowned fighter and trainer Mike Miles. The WKL Professional World Middleweight Muay Thai Champion took home a bronze medal in the 2010 Sport Accord World Combat games.

The entire list of fighters that will be competing on The Challenger for the $100,000 grand prize is listed below. As you can see some top international talent is part of the sixteen fighter cast including Antoine Pinto, Jordan Watson, Marco Pique, and Vuyisile Colossa to name a few.
