It's time for the weekend rundown since two events took place this weekend. One was in California and the other in China, but both featured some top notch talent from Thailand. Push Kick Promotions "World Stand Off" took place in Pomona, CA while Thai Fight Extreme took place in Hong Kong, China.
Push Kick Promotions "World Stand Off"
The event dubbed Thailand vs. The World was hit hard when it lost two of the five pro bouts one day before the event due to fighters no getting medical clearance. Gornpet "Diamond Hands' DeJrat vs. Ky Hollenbeck and Neungsiam "The Rock" Samphusri vs. Charles Williams were the canceled at the last minute due to DeJrat and Samphusri not getting medically cleared to fight, however, the three pro fights that did happen were pretty exciting.
In the main event Lerdsila "Mr. Lightning" out pointed and countered Sheymon Da Silva in route to a unanimous decision victory. Da Silva pressed the action the entire fight, but Lerdsila was fast and showed pin point accuracy with his strikes. Ekpracha "The Hitman" Menton stole the show in his fight with William Sriyapai as he unleashed a barrage of violence. From the start of the fight Menton was throwing a variety of strikes with bad intention and despite Sriyapai hanging in until the third round he was clearly out matched. The fight was stopped by the referee in the third round. Chonlaag "No Wait" Keawit and Baxter Humby fought a very closely contested fight in the night's opening pro bout. Keawit was aggressive moving forward the entire fight looking to land the big punches he was throwing, but Humby did a good job to keep him at bay with push kicks and a solid jab. When the fight was over the judges awarded Keawit a split decision win that arguably should have gone to Humby.

Thai Fight Extreme
Some big names were part of the Thai Fight Extreme card which took place in Hong Kong, China on July 17th. Yodsanklai Fairtex, Buakaw Por. Pramuk, and Fabio Pinca were all victorious. Both Yodsanklai and Buakaw took home decision victories over their respective opponents. It seemed that Buakaw had an easier time picking apart Gilmar China Sales than Yodsanklai did facing Karim Ghajji, but none the less both came out on top. Fabio Pinca rebounded from the questionable stoppage loss that he suffered his last fight by defeating Ding Ning via (T)KO in the second round.
