If you attended or caught the live stream of Lion Fight Promotions "Battle in the Desert 3" you witnessed Muay Thai legend Sakmongkol defeat Cosmo Alexandre by unanimous decision. The outcome was something that many fans in attendance did not agree with and Cosmo himself lost his cool when the announcement was made.
The typically calm Cosmo threw his arms up in disgust at the decision and ran across the ring and had a few words for the promoter. We must note that the promoter has nothing to do with a decision. The judges appointed by the Nevada State Athletic Commission decide the outcome of the fights they oversee. Visibly upset, Cosmo left the ring and stormed back to the locker room.
Since the announced decision and its ensuing drama, Sakmongkol has stated that he would like to have one more fight before he retires against Cosmo Alexandre. Zingano BJJ owner Mauricio Zingano has informed Muay Thai Authority that Sakmongkol will be ready to fight again in six months and that he wants his last fight ever to be against Cosmo.
Zingano also stated that Sakmongkol feels Cosmo has no respect; Sakmongkol himself has been on the receiving end of a decision he did not agree with, but still showed respect to his opponents. Zingano further stated, "In victory or defeat Sak always showed respect to all of his opponents. Cosmo acted poorly, unlike a fighter, more like a child."
With the criticism regarding the decision, it would be easier to simply walk away with a win. However, to Sakmongkol's credit, he prefers a definitive rematch. The fact that he wants to fight his last fight against Cosmo means he feels he can beat Cosmo again and clearly does not feel he received a bad decision. Whether or not the fight will come to fruition, we don't know -- either way, Sakmongkol has laid down the challenge. He wants his last fight to be against Cosmo Alexandre.

I disagree. It's not that Sak feels that he won the fight. He made it very clear that he disagreed with the decision. He simply wants to make it definitive and does believe he can win.
