Fight Card for August 1st Rhino Invasion event in Kula Lampur, Malaysia

Rhino Invasion will take place August 1st in Kula Lampur, Malaysia, the event will feature a main event bout between Raphael Bohic and Jom Kitti. The co-main event will feature Lena Ovchynnikova vs. Patrizia Gibelli.

France's Bohic has over 50 fights under his belt and has been in the ring some decent Thai fighters. His biggest fight to date was against Saenchai, where he went to a decision with the Muay Thai legend. The fight took place at a Muay Thai Warriors event in 2013, Bohic lost the decision unanimously. Jom Kitti is another experienced Thai that Bohic will be stepping in the ring with and should prove to be a solid test for him.

Ovchynnikova will look to defeat Gibelli for a second time. The pair fought earlier this year at Lion Belt 5 where Ovchynnikova took home a decision victory.

WCK Muay Thai: Hot Summer Fights 2014 Results

WCK Muay Thai: Hot Summer Fights 2014 took place last night at Morongo Casino in Cabazon, CA. The event featured a slew of Southern California based talent. In the main event Romie Adanza and Frank Gross had a re-match of their April 2014 fight that ended in a controversial draw. This time around Gross walked away the winner and new WBC Muay Thai Flyweight International Champion. The judges awarded Gross a split decision. 

Also on the fight card Lena Ovchynnikova defeated Ruth Ashdown to win the WBC Muay Thai Women's Flyweight World Title.

WCK Muay Thai: Hot Summer Fights 2014 fight card

WCK Muay Thai action will take place July 19 at Morongo Casino Resort in Cabazon, CA with Hot Summer Fights 2014. The event will feature a main event bout between Romie Adanza and Frank Gross. The pair fought in April of this year to a controversial draw which many thought should have been a win for Adanza. 

The event will also feature Lena Ovchynnikova vs. Ruth Ashdown in a WBC Muay Thai world title fight. Other fighters scheduled to compete on the card are local west coast stand outs Glen Spencer, Jason Caldwell, and Charles Bisset.

WCK Muay Thai "Hot Summer Fights" set for August 24th in Temecula, CA with Miriam Nakamoto vs. Aleide Lawant main event

WCK Muay Thai will return to Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, CA on August 24th with "Hot Summer Fights". The night's main event will feature Miriam Nakamoto (15-0) making her return to the Muay Thai ring after a year long absence to face Aleide Lawant (19-8). 

Nakamoto has made a successful transition to MMA since her last Muay Thai Fight in August of 2012 when she defeated Julie Kitchen. Dutch striker, Lawant will look to welcome Nakamoto back to the Muay Thai ring. The 2011 winner of the Enfusion tournament will look to try and hand Nakamoto her first career defeat.

In the night's co-main event Mexican WBC Muay Thai champion Luis Bio (11-4) square off with Raul Rodriguez (11-1) in a WBC Muay Thai title fight. Bio will look to bounce back after a decision loss in China against to Zhipeng Zhou in the Wu Lin Feng 154lb 8-man tournament. Rodriguez last competed in November of 2012 when he scored decision victory over Chuang Xie at the WCK's Wu Lin Feng event in Las Vegas.

Also featured on the card will be Mike Lemaire (9-1) vs. Ryan Madigan (28-6) for the WBC Muay Thai national cruiserweight title. Lemaire will be looking to bounce back from his first professional loss.

Fight card for C3 event in China featuring Simon Marcus vs. Dmitry Valent

It was reported a few days ago that Simon Marcus and Dmitry Valent would fight at an upcoming co-promoted WCK Muay Thai event in China. More information on the event is now available. 

The event, which is called C3 will take placed in Chengdu, China on April 27th, and in addition to Marcus vs. Valent will feature American favorite Lena Ovchynnikova vs. Tang Jin and Li Baoming vs. Dankao Sakada. A four man tournament will also take place at the event.

Results and Recap: Matter of Pride

WCK: Matter of Pride took place Sunday November 14, 2012 at the Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. The event was a mix of Muay Thai and Wulingfeng bouts. In the main event Jemyma Betrian defeated Tiana Caverley by unanimous decision to take home the WBC Muay Thai Bantamweight World Title. It was a fairly one sided fight as Betrian was able to land her strikes at will. All three judges scored the bout 50-45 in favor of Betrian.

In the co-main event Zeqi Deng scored an upset over Lerdsila Chumpairtour. Deng took home a split decision over Lerdsila, a bout many expected Lerdsila to win. Deng fought smart and stuck to his game plan while Lerdsila might have hurt himself by show boating a little too much. It is big win for Deng and Lerdsila’s second consecutive loss.

In the WCK vs. Wulinfeng portion of the fight card both sides scored three victories a piece. For the Wulingfeng team Xifeng Tang defeated Lena Ovchynnikova by unanimous decision, Yinghua Tie defeated Artem Sharoshkin by unanimous decision, and Zhaoyu Zheng defeated Joe Davidson in a controversial (T)KO. Zheng connected with a low blow on Davidson who was then unable to continue and the victory was awarded to Zheng.

For the WCK team Luis Bio (@LuisBio1) scored a unanimous decision over Zhipeng Zhou, Raul Rodriguez defeated Chuang Xie by unanimous decision, and Mike Lemaire (@MikeLemaire) took home a split decision over Baoming Li.

In the nights only other pro Muay Thai bout Bryan Humes (@Bryan815) scored a (T)KO over Anthony Newman in the second round.

The full fight card for the WCK Muay Thai: Matter of Pride event taking place at the Plaza in Las Vegas this Sunday has been released. The event will be the WCK’s annual Wulinfeng event and will feature Team WCK vs. Team Wulinfeng bouts.

In the night’s three pro Muay Thai bouts Jemyma Betrian will look to capture a WBC World Title against Tiana Caverley, Lerdsila Chumpairtour will look to win a WCK Title against Zeqi Deng, and Bryan Humes (@Bryan815) and Anthony Newman will tangle in a heavyweight bout.

Results and Recap: WCK Muay Thai "Nakamoto vs. Kitchen"

WCK Muay Thai was in full swing at Pala Casino in Pala, CA last night. The main event was the highly anticipated fight between America's Miriam Nakamoto and England's Julie Kitchen, and the bout did not disappoint.

Nakamoto and Kitchen had their full arsenal on display as they fought back and forth for five hard fought rounds. With all the build up leading up to the fight there was no let down and the fans were treated to a great fight. Both fighters answered the other's strikes with their own. The fight was extremely close and in the end the judges awarded Nakamoto the victory by unanimous decision.
