3rd MPL workout added, will once again feature names such as Buakaw, Nathan Corbett, Julie Kitchen and more

A third open workout has been scheduled by the Muay Thai Premier League (MPL) for Wednesday August 31st. Once again this additional workout will feature fighters such as Buakaw, Yodsanklai, Nathan Corbett, Julie Kitchen and Nieky Holzken and many more.

The third workout will take place at Team Oyama located at 16632 Hale Avenue, Suite 100 in Irvine, CA with a start time of 7pm PT/10pm ET. The third workout will once again be open to the public so fans and media that were not able to attend the workout at Boxing Works in Hermosa Beach on Monday or the workout at Sityodtong on Tuesday have another chance to see the fighters working out before their fights at the MPL's "Stars and Stripes" event taking place on Friday September 2nd.

Updated fight card for MPL's "Stars and Stripes" event

The MPL will kick off on September 2nd with "Stars and Stripes" in Long Beach, CA. The event will feature a who's who of international talent. Although not much has changed since the announcement of the fight card we have decided to post the most current match-ups so that everyone can stay up to date. One noticeable match-up that will no longer be on the card is Yodsanklai vs. Yohan Lidon. The bout was scrapped from the event when Yodsanklai was forced to withdraw due to a ligament injury in his leg. The MPL is working on rescheduling the bout for their next event in Los Angeles, which is currently scheduled for January.
