WCK Muay Thai: Cali 5 set for August 16th at Hollywood Park Casino

WCK Muay Thai: Cali 5 is set for August 16th at Hollywood Park Casino in Inglewood, CA. The night's main event will feature a WBC Muay Thai USA National title fight between Zoila Frausto and Lindsey Marino. Both Frausto and Marino have had successful starts to their Muay Thai careers and each has a 2-0 record.

The other pro bout taking place on the card is Charles Bissett and Jason Rzepka. Bisset was in action at WCK Muay Thai: Hot Summer Fights 2014 last month where he improved his pro record to 2-1 with a unanimous decision win over Tom Gallicchio via Unanimous Decision.

WCK Muay Thai: Cali 4 set for April 19th, Romie Adanza expected to headline

WCK Muay Thai will return on April 19th to Hollywood Park Casino in Los Angeles, CA. The Cali 4 event is set to feature a main event with Romie Adanza, although his opponent is yet to be determined.

Adanza recently got back on the winning track with a knockout of Thanit "Boom" Whatthanaya. The fight with Whatthanaya, which also took place under the WCK Muay Thai banner was the third fight between the two fighters. Adanza won both of his bouts against Whatthanaya by knockout, while the one win Whatthanaya recorded over Adanza came by split decision.

Also on the pro portion of the card will be Charles Bisset vs. Jason Rzepka.

WCK Muay Thai "King's Birthday Celebration" Results and Recap

WCK Muay Thai: King's Birthday Celebration took place last night at the Hollywood Park Casino in Inglewood, California. Headlining the event was a bout between Romie Adanza and Thanit Watthanaya. The bout would decide the trilogy between these two as they had previously split two fights. Adanza won their first encounter with a vicious knockout and Watthanaya won the second by split decision. 

The bout only made it to round two this time around and it was Adanza who took home the decisive win. Always known for his great boxing prowess in the ring, Adanza delivered a crushing left to the body in the second round that put Watthanaya down for the count. It was an impressive win for an emotional Adanza, who had dedicated the fight to training partner Shane Del Rosario. With the win Adanza snaps a three fight losing streak, while Watthanaya has now dropped his last two bouts.

In the night's co-main event Bryce Krause's power was in full display against Joe Davidson. It took one round for Krause to win the WBC Muay Thai Super Welterweight U.S. National Title and he did so with his right hand. Krause connected with a monster right that dropped Davidson, but Davidson proved to be a game opponent as he got back to his feet to continue the fight. Krause kept on the attack and dropped Davidson a second time, who once again worked back to his feet to beat the referee's count and continue fighting. Krause continued to press and Davidson was more than willing to continue to engage with him, another right hand dropped Davidson and the referee stepped in to wave off the fight. With the win Krause has now won his last two bouts.

Results and Recap: 110% Fights-Thai Boxe Association’s “Queens Cup”

110% Fights-Thai Boxe Association’s “Queens Cup” took place this past weekend at the Golden Acorn casino in Campo, CA. The event featured two pro Muay Thai fights along with several amateur fights.

In the night’s main event Afam Egbochuku scored a first round knockout over Jason Rzepka. Egbochuku dropped Rzepka with a head kick. Rzepka showed his heart and toughness by getting back to his feet, but not long after Egbochuku finished the fight with punches.

In the other pro fight Gilbert Lua scored a come from behind knockout victory over Antonio Wong. Entering the fifth round it was clear that Lua would need a finish to win the fight and finish is exactly what he did. Lua connected with a knee to Wong’s chin that ended his night.

110% Fights - Thai Boxe Association "Queens Cup" set for August 11th at the Golden Acorn Casino in Southern California

110% Fights - Thai Boxe Association will be back in action on August 11th when they present their first annual Queen's Cup Festival. The all day event will take place at the Golden Acorn Casino in Campo, CA.

The event will be headlined by Afam Egbochuku who will be looking to collect his second professional victory in as many fights against Jason Rzepka. In the night's co-main event Kenny Finister will be taking on Karl Santiago and rounding out the pro card will be a fight between Israel Farfan and Gilbert Lua. The remainder of the card will feature a bevy of Southern California amateur fighters.

Mike Lemaire talks upcoming bout with Jason Rzepka at Art of War

Mike Lemaire will be making his pro debut on May 4th at 110% Fights “Art of War” at the Golden Acorn Casino in Campo, CA. Mike has been training under Melchor Menor at the Art of Eight training center in San Diego, CA. Mike took some time out from his schedule to answer a few questions for Muay Thai Authority regarding his upcoming fight against Jason Rzepka.

MTA: You are fighting Jason Rzepka at Art of War on May 4th at the Golden Acorn Casino. How has training for this fight been going?

Mike: Training camp has been going great. I am training with my coach former world champion Melchor Menor here at the Art of Eight training center in San Diego where I am also one of the instructors. Training under his knowledge and experience in the sport of Muay Thai is definitely an advantage. We have been training hard I am ready to go.
