Lion Fight 20 set for February 20th in Connecticut with Baars vs. Bohrman main event

Lion Fight is set to return Friday, February 20, 2014 with Lion Fight 20. The promotions first event of the year will take place at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut. The main event will feature Lion Fight women’s welterweight champion Jorina Baars as she attempts to defend her title against challenger Casey Bohrman. The co-main event will feature east coast standout Chris Mauceri vs. Sittisak Por. Sirichai.

Baars profile drastically increased in the combat sports world when she soundly defeated MMA women’s standout Cris “Cyborg” Justino at Lion Fight 14 by unanimous decision. The undefeated fighter will attempt to defend her Lion Fight title for the first time against Bohrman.

Mauceri will look to add a solid name to his resume of wins when he takes on Sittisak. The only loss on Mauceri’s record is to the current Lion Fight super lightweight champion, Kevin Ross. Sittisak holds a split decision win over Ross, which took place at Lion Fight’s first event Battle in the Desert.

The remainder of the card will feature names such as Lion Fight standout Jason Andrada, and CSA Gym standout Gaston Bolanos.

Fight Card:
Jorina Baars (c) vs. Casey Bohrma – Lion Fight Women’s Wetlerweight Championship
Chris Mauceri vs. Sittisak Por. Sirichai
Jason Andrada vs. John Nofer
Tom Evans vs. Julio Pena
Tim Amorim vs. Bryce Lawrence
