Results and Recap: K-1 Los Angeles under card fights

K-1 Los Angeles kicked off with three under card bouts. In the nights first bout Mike Lemaire and Glen Spencer, Jr battled for three hard fought rounds. Lemaire seemed to push the pace through out the fight working his punches and kicks well. He was able to mix knees into his attacks as he frequently had Spencer with his back against the ropes. Spencer was able to put some nice attacks of his own together, but Lemaire was able to dictate the pace and connect more frequently through out the fight. In the end Lemaire took home a unanimous decision victory.

In the night’s second fight Damien Early and Jermaine Soto were involved in a pretty even fight through the first two rounds. They both had some nice flurries which resembled Rock Em’ Sock Em’ Robots. In the third round, however, a nicely place right hand counter by Early sent Soto down and that was the end of the fight. The third round KO for Early was a spectacular beginning to what seems to be a promising career.
